Laboratorios JUVENTUS not only works to provide people
with healthcare, but it is also committed to environmental sustainable
development. We contribute to caring for our environment and we encourage
a more responsible use of medicines.
That is why we are adhered to SIGRE, an integrated system for the management
and recycling of medicines and packaging. Thus, we help people to dispose
of unused or expired medicines in a convenient, safe way at a SIGRE
Point in pharmacies, and we make sure that this waste is responsibly
processed. Fulfilling this goal has a twofold benefit:
• For the environment, by reducing environmental harm that may be derived
from medicine packaging and left-over medicines.
• For people's health, by encouraging people not to hoard medicines
in their homes, and by increasing their awareness of the health risks
derived from inappropriate use of medicines.
